Lyric soprano Melynda Davis continues to gain widespread attention across New England for her wonderful legato line and beautiful vocal color. Known for her versatility in opera, oratorio, and art song, she maintains an active presence as a premier vocal artist and arts administrator based in the Greater Boston area.

Melynda Davis currently serves as the Board President for both Boston Singers' Resource and Opera Untapped, driving regional advocacy, membership growth, and community outreach for New England vocal artists.  Her extensive professional toolkit also includes artistic curation and production, demonstrated by her work producing specialized operatic and cabaret showcases like Celebrating Black Excellence and The Ladies Who Lunch. Additionally, she brings music leadership through her role as the long-standing Soprano Section Leader at the First Baptist Church of Lexington.
